The Kick-start for the year 2024 feels like it was just yesterday and now we are in the last but one month. Like play like play, we only have 5,011,200 seconds to the year 2025. No matter how 2024 has been, we cannot relive or change anything about it, we can only look forward positively in hope for better years ahead. It might not have been easy, but the Almighty God have been faithful.
This is wishing all of us prosperity and success in this new month.
Below are the highlights of the events / activities of the association that took please in the month of October 2024.
EXMAN X-GAMES PAINTBALL EDITION: A DAY OF FUN, CONNECTION, AND CAMARADERIE!
This took place on Friday October 25, 2024 at the Funplex Resort CMD Road Magodo Phase 2. It was the X – Games Paintball Edition. The fun filled was a fantastic get-together for the young people in the industry as well as the young at heart. This action-packed day was filled with paintball battles, classic games like tic-tac-toe and Jenga, and a lineup of fun activities that kept spirits high, despite the rainy weather. As the games wound down, attendees relaxed to great music and enjoyed refreshing drinks, creating a perfect close to an unforgettable evening.
The X-Games served as a unique opportunity for members from various EXMAN agencies to step out of their usual routines, meet with friends old and new, and bond in a fun, relaxing atmosphere. The rain couldn’t dampen the excitement, and the strong turnout highlighted how much our community values these chances to connect beyond the boardroom.
Overall, the Paintball Edition of the EXMAN X-Games was a resounding success, with participants already buzzing about the next event! Thank you to everyone who came out, and let’s look forward to even more excitement in future X-Games!
MEMBER AGENCIES CORPORATE LICENSE RENEWAL
The EXMAN Secretariat has been actively supporting EXMAN member agencies in the process of renewing their corporate licenses, ensuring that all agencies meet the regulatory standards and deadlines set by ARCON. This assistance includes guiding members through the renewal requirements, providing updates on necessary documentation, and offering one-on-one support to streamline the process. The Secretariat’s involvement has been instrumental in helping agencies navigate compliance requirements smoothly, demonstrating our commitment to fostering a professional and well-regulated industry environment.
In addition to assisting with renewals, the EXMAN Secretariat has also been participating in inspection visits in collaboration with the Advertising Regulatory Council of Nigeria (ARCON). As part of an industry-wide committee that includes members from AAAN, MIPAN, and OAAN, the Secretariat joined ARCON for site visits to agencies in both Lagos and Abuja.
These inspections are a critical component of the corporate licensing process, ensuring that agencies adhere to industry standards before their licenses are issued. Through these efforts, EXMAN is proud to contribute to a strong, compliant, and collaborative industry landscape, supporting its member agencies in maintaining the highest standards of practice. The Secretariat’s active role in both the renewal process and inspection visits reflects our dedication to serving our members and upholding the values of excellence and accountability within the industry.
CONCLUSION
As we round up 2024 in preparation of entering a New Year, let us be focused on growing our businesses and “find ways of making more money” while delivering exceptional experience to our respective target audience and driving business excellence for our clients.
